LWVCC sponsors meetings and events for the public and League members. The Executive Committee and Board Meetings are held to conduct business of the Cook County League. Board Meetings are open to all local League members who would like to observe them.

Monday, August 25, 2008	9:30 a.m.	League Office 332 S. Michigan Avenue Suite 1150 Chicago, IL 60604	Board Meeting and Orientation. Bring your lunches for informal networking after the meeting.
Saturday, September 20, 2008	10 a.m.	Deep Tunnel Mainstream Pumping Station 6100 River Road Hodgkins, IL 60525	Field Trip to Deep Tunnel. Visit the storm water pumping station - must register by August 15 - background check will be done using your state ID or driver's license.
